!! An Evening to Remember !! Hoppipola is one of the happening Bar in Pune. It's located on busy ITI road which is known for Aundh's Khau galli and its buzzing with lots of happening places. The place offers a lot of things and always keeps up the reputation of one of the best in Area. The ambiance of Hoppipola is totally modern. It's a Funky look with simple decor yet attractive. It's a modern open cafe theme which really attracts the young crowd like us. They have an open live bar where you can see all the mixology actions. They have separate AC section for the family crowd or large numbers. The overall ambiance is pretty nice and adds up a new look at the Restaurant. They've recently launched a new menu and I was lucky that I got chance to try it. The menu they've come up is really good and has lots of fresh items to try from. Without wasting any more time Let's get started then .... ★ Drinks 1. Sonora Sangria 2. Watermelon and Basil Mojito 3. Hoppi Bath Tub 4.Watermelon and Basil crush Drinks - Superbly done drinks. Refreshing and balanced taste. Perfect for your mood and it will really add up another level of happiness. Watermelon and basil mojito was good. It had both watermelon and basil taste in equal flavor and the alcohol wasn't overpowering the fruity taste. Hoppi bath tub was a tub full of different drinks. It had white rum, orange liquor, beer, basil, orange. Champions drink. Watermelon and basil crush mocktail was great in taste. Medium sweet taste with great basil effect was a treat to your mouth. ★ Munchies - 1. Smart Bhel Salad 2. Timepass Platter Munchies - Munchies as in Chakna in our local native language. Whenever you go if you're having drinks you need chakna which is something light to chew on when having alcohol mostly. We had smart bhel salad and time pass platter for our chakna which was good. The smart bhel was a mixture of various veggies, fruits and bhel tossed in honey. The dressing was done perfectly and the output was superbly juicy. Loved it. Whereas time pass platter was an assorted chat which had 4 different types of munchies. It had fried masala peanuts, Peri peri cheeselings,schezwan channa and bhel. The platter was a success, everything in it had a different unique texture and taste which went well with drinks. The munchies were fantastic and we started with a bang. ★ Starters 1. Cheese and olive garlic naangles 2. Cheese Nachos Avalanche 3. Akuri Bruschetta 4. Old monk chicken wings 5. Sizzling chicken Sukkha 6. chiselled prawns 7. Mixed meat desi chatter platter Starters - For starters, we went for Non-veg mainly and tried 1-2 veg ones. Cheese and olive garlic naangles were simple naan which had cheese, olive and garlic toppings. The flavor of the toppings was complementing naan and it was given with dip. Nachos were good, it had salsa sauce topped on it and fresh hot cheese poured. Although the cheese and salsa were mild on taste side and didn't fit in the dish. Akuri bruschetta was a hell of a dish, what I can say about this. Nicely chopped meat tossed with masala and topped on round bread with cream. Tastewise the combination was juicy and the bread as thickening element, all ingredients created a single strong flavor. Old monk chicken wings were the show stopper of our dinner. perfectly cooked wings having a balanced sauce which didn't overpower meat taste or vice versa. The sauce had 20,25 % old monk taste and tangy spicy bbq taste. The overall combination was perfect as per me. Sizzling chicken sukkha was traditional Maharashtrian preparation came onto sizzler plate. However, the sukkha lacked the excessive masala which we always look for and it wasn't that spicy which we felt was majorly missing. Chiseled prawns were good. The sauce was a little bit sweet having mild wine taste and was a perfect addition to the prawns. Prawns were fresh and perfectly cooked. ★ Mains 1. Grilled stuffed chicken with mash & jus - As we had lots of starters we were full and didn't try much from mains. This one was perfect for us as it wasn't heavy on the stomach and satisfied our expectations. Nicely cooked chicken breast with potato mash and boiled veggies. It was stuffed with spinach, cheese and lots of veggies. The filling was really complementing the meat and the given brown sauce dip was a heavenly addition to this combination. ★ Dessert 1. Choco block - Good way to end your meal. Brownie with vanilla ice cream. Brownie was soft and fresh and as always vanilla ice cream is a perfect match for it. Overall Verdict - Funky ambiance, good sporty vibe and outstanding drinks and food are what I found here. If you're looking for a good place to have a party and chill with friends then this is the only good option on ITI road.
